Having returned home after a detailed talk, I thought it over long and hard. Brooding over the situation somewhat, the first doubts crept into my mind. Without hesitating for long though, I contacted the clinic again and soon had another appointment for a second consultation with Prof.

Sailer, Dr Sailer and Mrs Tejic. The team spent a lot of time answering all my questions. My doubts had vanished and a surgery date had been arranged.

With the operation nearly three months behind me, I can finally look in the mirror and see the woman who had been hiding somewhere deep inside me since my birth – but whose light could not shine owing to a congenital anatomical malposition. I am now much more self-confident in my life. I would therefore like to express my sincerest thanks to Prof. Sailer and the entire team at the clinic. I found a clinic and Dr. in Europe, who deals with facial implants, in addition to others body aesthetic surgeries. I decided to have the surgery there. The Dr. used jaw silicone implants, which look terrible on my face. The result became asymmetry, as the silicone implants moved, the size, shape and the location was not as I wanted, my chin became even longer with the implant, and the total look had no harmony at all. I was very disappointed.                 I thought to myself, may be my case is too complicated.

I felt that it's a must to correct the result, and remove the implants I had, because deeply inside I knew that my wish can come true. My brain told me to give up. My heart insisted to keep on looking for a surgeon. One day I found on a forum Pro. Sailer's website. I had a doubt "ohh another website where I'm about to find a minor facial structure transformation". I clicked on the gallery and I was in shock and amazed by the results. I could not wait to talk to Dr. Erica on the phone and to share with her my wish and story.        I sent her some photos and some model's photo, in order to show her what is my wish.     She calmed me down and showed Pro. Sailer my case. I got a phone call back later, it's was Dr. Erica – "we can do it!". Dr. Erica was very nice and gentle from the beginning, with a lot of confident. It's was a wonderful moment.

The next step was to book a consultation with Pro. Sailer. Angela helped me with her professional job to book it. She was very nice from the first call. I'm on my way to Zurich and I cannot wait to meet Pro. Sailer, Dr. Erica and the whole team. The clinic is well designed, the team is very professional and nice. First, I met Dr. Erica who welcomed me with open arms. She was very professional and advised me what are the best procedures to achieve my wish. She has a lot of experience and high aesthetic vision. Then, I met Pro. Sailer. WOW, what I can tell about him. From the very first moment I felt very comfortable with him, with no distance or masks, I felt like I know him for years. He looked at me, he looked at the model's photo and started to explain me how is it possible to make my wish come true. He noticed immediately alone to every detail. In this moment, I understood that he is synced with me, and that he is a real expert who does not afraid to deal with the real thing – with the facial bone structure. He feels at home in this field. Pro. Sailer has so much patient, which I've never seen before. He listened to every detail, and he really wanted to achieve my wish in the best way. Jelena joined to the consultations with her high aesthetic vision and experience. I could feel that I'm in the right clinic. I booked a second consultation to discuss some more issues. I felt like this is the correct place to have the surgery. I've never had this feeling before. I booked the surgery date with the wonderful Angela. I met Pro. Sailer and Jelena a couple of days before the surgery. Every detail was clear with a lot of patient in the pre-surgery consultation. The day of the surgery came, the moment of truth. I was very excited, but not too much nervous, because I'm not afraid from surgical procedures. In addition, I had a good feeling and knew that I put my face in the best facial surgeon's hand and with the best team. The anesthetic was very nice and funny. When I woke up I had no pains, just a stiff and numb feeling in my lower face. The heavy swollen begun in the day after for several days. I had to stay more than 10 days in Zurich, in order to see that my body accepts the jaw implants. Pro. Sailer and Jelena took care of me every day in the best way with a lot of funny moments along to thrilling moments. Dr. Erica encouraged me every time we met, and the whole team was very nice, supportive and helpful. My mom was next to me for the several first days, in order to support me.

Now, a month and a week after the surgery, I can say without any doubt and clearly, Pro. Sailer is the best facial surgeon in the world. No one could have done my wish better than him. After so much years of suffering, I can feel and see the harmony I wished for. For me, in addition to the amazing result, it gives me the opportunity to start a lot of new things. Finally, I can take photos and videos while I'm not hiding from the camera, more than this, I want to be in front of the camera. Pro. Sailer blessed by god with the ability, talent, gentle and modesty personality to touch people and replace disharmony with harmony with the best version of yourself.

There was a marked difference when I saw Prof. Sailer.  I was impressed because he explained the medical procedures as well as aesthetic considerations, risks, and possible outcomes- without downplaying or “glossing over” any of them, he did drawings, took all sorts of photos, xrays and scans using his in-house hi-tech machines, discussed the procedure with me with his team present and considered all opinions and my expectations. 

I also appreciated how many case photos he had.  It was great to see there were chins that looked similar to mine before surgery, so I had an idea what mine would look like post-surgery. I was at ease. The surgery went very well.  Prof. Sailer has such a magic touch that I felt incredible immediately after the surgery. My chin looked awesome. If I had any post-operative questions the staff were responsive and very patient.  My recovery has been uneventful- just how I like it!  I am thrilled with the results, and I am considering jaw line surgery and other orthogenic procedures with him. I wouldn't dream of using another surgeon. Once you have had the best ... you wouldn't settle for any less. Prof. Sailer is a true professional and a pioneer in his field. He gives 100% of himself and more. I am forever grateful to him for giving me my smile and confidence back.

I always knew that something in my face was not quite right or that something hadn’t grown normally, but not a single doctor I had seen over the course of a number of consultations could tell me exactly what the problem was. It was said to be the nose, then the cheeks, then the teeth. No one had a solution or a suggestion on how to help me.

A search on the topic of jaw malposition led me by coincidence to Professor Sailer’s website. I read the many positive reports, and the photos of patients made me curious about the clinic, the doctor, and his team. I asked for a non-binding consultation via the contact form. One day later, Dr Erica Sailer called me personally to make an appointment with me. A short time later I was on my way from Germany to Zurich, carrying with me a fair amount of tension – and also anticipation – along with my hand luggage.

This issue had been affecting me my entire life. Whether long ago at school or at university, I always felt uncomfortable.

My first impressions of the clinic were great! It is a familiar, cosy practice that is also very stylish. The entire team was very warm and eager from the very first moment. The options I had in terms of operations were explained to me thoroughly, and it was also clear to me after this first, hour-long appointment that I would like to be operated on by Professor Sailer. Still, he and Dr Erica Sailer advised me to think everything over thoroughly; after all, it would not be a minor operation, and the financial burden is no small matter either.

After further discussions, in which my questions were answered and Dr Erica Sailer showed me photos of former patients with similar deformities, the date for surgery was soon fixed. I was simply very determined and did not want to wait any longer, since a lot would change for me through this operation – that much I was sure of. I had been searching for just such a doctor for years. One who knows what has to be done, where the problem is, proceeds in a serious manner and doesn’t simply want to sell something. I was operated on just three and a half months after the first meeting.

I arrived at the hospital on the morning of the operation and was really incredibly nervous. The Professor met me personally at the reception, took me to my room and settled my nerves immediately. As Professor Sailer is a friendly, warm person, his manner is naturally infectious and you feel very comfortable. I always had confidence in him. You notice straight away that he loves his work and is 100% behind what he does. So I got changed, went by myself into the operating theatre and into the room, where I received the anaesthetic, which I took very well, incidentally – and, in all honesty, I can’t remember very much more. I dozed off, and when I woke up there was always someone there to supply me with drinks and medication. At this point, I had no pain and I also slept heavily that night. The swelling started the next day, however. But this was as expected and, contrary to expectations, I didn’t start to look like a pumpkin ;). Of course, the scar in the mouth and the swelling was uncomfortable, it pinched and pulled here and there, but it was completely bearable, and I also got painkillers and everything else I asked for. Because I was already doing well – I could already go for a walk through the clinic on the

second day, and was also able to talk to the nurses, have a shower and briefly go outside – there was no reason to object to me leaving the clinic on the third night. In the morning I had one last conversation with the

Professor, who spoke to me at least once every day during my stay. I then made my way with my mum back from Zurich to Innsbruck to stay at her home. I thought it would be better to endure the initial swelling at a safe remove, so as not to unnecessarily alarm anyone at home;)

Unfortunately, I began to feel progressively worse in Austria. I had severe pain, repeated nosebleeds at night, circulatory problems, and respiratory problems due to by nose being completely blocked. My jaw just hurt so much.

Professor Sailer had previously given me his home number, so I called on the second day after I was released and told him about my pain. His voice alone calmed my anxieties straight away. He explained to me that it wouldn’t get worse, how to treat myself and also immediately sent a prescription for stronger painkillers straight to my chemist, which my mum was able to pick up just 15 minutes after the phone call. Thankfully, the painkillers had an immediate impact. Nevertheless, I have to say that the next two days were very painful and stressful. Professor Sailer called me on the next day and asked personally about my condition. He was just so conscientious. After about four days of pain, things went much better. The swelling started to subside and the contours began to emerge more clearly. And now – just four weeks after the operation! – I could cry every time I look in the mirror, because I’m so happy! I’m so happy that I decided to take this step and I’ve been noticing how my confidence is growing. This operation was not a minor procedure, as already mentioned, and you should be aware that you’ll be somewhat impaired

for the first few weeks after the procedure. You can’t chew and at worst, half the face is numb, which makes it hard to drink or to use a glass. But it’s worth it. And that’s exactly what I thought about every day: It’ll all be worth it. With these results, the pain and the temporary impairment were worth it every step of the way.

Professor Hermann Sailer’s work is just amazing, and today I still can’t believe what he achieved with my jaw. As well as this, there’s the endearing manner of him and his team. Dr Erica Sailer also put in so much effort, holding my hand whilst I was being stitched, assuring me I could call at any time, giving me encouragement when I said I was in pain and answering every question in detail before and after the surgery. I always felt myself thoroughly well looked after, both in the practice and at home. I’m looking forward to the immediate future and the final results, even though it already looks great now. The most important thing for me?! I feel beautiful and really at home in my own skin – for the first time in my life!
